't Vakantiehuisje

't Vakantiehuisje is a tastefully appointed holiday home in the city center of Poperinge. It's situated perfectly to discover Poperinge and its surroundings. Situated in the city center, the holiday home still offers you plenty of rest so you can enjoy a relaxing holiday.

't Vakantiehuisje was renovated completely to meet all modern norms of comfort. On the ground floor there's a cosy sitting room with stylish chesterfields, a dining room with comfortable loom chairs, a cosy and fully equipped kitchen, shower and toilet. After a long day, you can have a chat outside on the patio with patio furniture and patio heater.

On the first floor there are two double rooms and one very bright single room. There's also a bathroom with a heart-shaped whirlpool, shower and toilet. On the attic floor there's a double bed and two single beds (you can move them around so you can also dispose of two double beds or four single beds).

The holiday home is suitable for 8 to maximum 10 persons.

SURROUNDINGS

From Poperinge you're just a step away from Ypres, the Belgian coast, Heuvelland, Northern France,... In "the capital of the high life" you can also take part in all kinds of activities. How about a visit to the Hop Museum, a shopping afternoon in the stylish boutiques, a day full of fun with the "Volkssportroute" (traditional pub games such as Toad in the hole and Sjoelen) and lots of other activities characterized by hops or the First World War? There are also a lot of events on the calender, so you will never be bored during your stay. You can find the planned events on the website of Tourism Poperinge.

Ypres

In the City of Peace you can do all kinds of activities: a visit to the In Flanders Fields Museum, talk a walk on the Vauban's ramparts, take the kids to Bellewaerde Park,... The city is characterized by the many reminders of the Great War. Every evening at 8pm precisely the Last Post is sounded under the Menin Gate.

The Belgian coast

There's a lot to do at the Belgian coast, you can go to Plopsaland with the kids, enjoy a walk in the dunes, a go-cart ride on the dike, ...
From 't Vakantiehuisje it's only a 35-minute drive to the coast (depending on which coastal city you want to visit).

Heuvelland

Heuvelland is the place to be if you want to make a mountainbike ride, go horse riding, take a walk with great views or enjoy great food.

Northern France

In Northern France (aka French Flanders) there's a great diversity of activities. You can visit cities such as Lille, Dunkirk and Calais or you can get some fresh air on the cliffs of Cap Gris Nez and Cap Blanc Nez where you can enjoy great views over the North Sea. There's always something you can do in the departments Nord and Pas de Calais.
